I am an Associate Professor of Astronomy at San Diego State University.   I completed my PhD in Astronomy in 2010 at UC Santa Cruz, and spent six years working as a postdoctoral fellow at the MPIA in Heidelberg, Germany and at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA before moving San Diego in Fall 2016.

I study the movement of gas into and out of galaxies and the effects of this gas cycle on galaxy evolution.  Please use the links above to learn more about me and my research.
